Prices and costs of food and drinks
Although food costs have increased in the past few years due to inflation, a recent survey has said that Spain has one of the lowest costs of living in Europe so you can still live fairly cheaply here. So with this in mind let’s take a look at some prices and costs.
Supermarket prices
Listed below is an average price of some main food staples that you would buy from a normal supermarket chain. Please note prices are correct at time of writing.

As you can understand, Malaga and Spain is far more expensive than for example Agadir in Morocco. But the food prepared is much more tasty in my opinion.
